there are different ways to do this, a lot of girls say that it's brilliant to be caught off gaurd and be kissed by suprise. I'm not going to lie- it can be v. romantic, but it can go wrong and if your not confident enough to laugh it off it might just be awkward after your failed attempt.
if your talking, quite close to eachother it's great to just look into her eyes and lean in for a kiss or just ask- not in a very up front kind of way, but in a kind of nice way.

Start ny touching her shoulder or back (non sexual), if she looks uncomfortable then stop and Im afraid you'll have to wait till next date.
If she looks ok then touch her hand and lean in when your talking. If she leans forward then you on if not then just enjoy the movie and try again next date. theres no rush
