I'd suggest seeing ur doctor, local gp, whatever. they'll print you out a nutritional diet guide!
But, carbohydrates help you gain weight as long as you eat more than you burn off through daily routines. Reduce all exercising to basics. Keep fit but don't try to burn anything off! I'm not telling u to STOP exercising as it's important for your heart and muscles that you do exercise just don't do excessive weight-losing exercise.
Pasta, spaghetti, bread, burgers, and lots of fruit and veg! Changing your diet to gain weight so you're a healthy weight is fine, but don't cram yourself full of fat, balance everything healthily with vegetables and fruit and all different types of food.
Things high in energy help you gain weight. Seeing a doctor would give you a specidic plan though!
