I try not to let it bother me but the more in shape I get, the more critical I get of my body. How can I stop letting this annoy me and start enjoying my work outs as much as I did when I first started working out? thanks Reply to this Question Share |

I agree with YummyMummy. I think you should accept yourself as you are. It seems like a "rat race" to me.

I see no harm in working your body hard as long as you aren't doing too much. We all have body issues. Before I feel pregnant I always felt waaaaaay to skinny, hated my nose and my thighs. Although I keep being told there is nothing wrong with them. A little part of me knows this. And I think you know that as much as you dislike parts of your body there isn't anything really that bad with them.
I can't do anything about my nose and thighs unless I have surgery which I can't afford and don't believe in. So I have just learnt to live with them. Some days I refuse to look at my nose in a mirror but other days I am fine.
You need to shut your mind off to your body niggles and it is hard at first but it does get easier :)
