writes:Hey, i met this guy online and he was different from other guys i mean he was cute and i really thought he loves me but when i started to talk to him on the phone his voice sounded like a girl's voice. Is that normal for a 17 year old guy? And he says he has a sister but he sometimes says "oh im gonna get on my sister facebook account" and stuff or sometimes he knows ppl from his "sister's" school and im worried, i havent met him in real yet but could it be possible to be a girl pretending to be a guy? i mean he showed me some pics of him and i searched and i dont think he saved them from internet so what am i gonna do if he's a girl?Please tell me what you think, is he a girl pretending to be a guy? and if he is then why is he possibly doing this to me?

Once I met a "girl" in a chat room who minutes later confessed to being a guy using the name "Sexy Sarah". Anyone can be anyone online.
Ask your online acquaintance to go on webcam or to send you a very specific picture of herself (for instance, winking her left eye while giving the Vulcan salute with her right hand). That would be hard to fake. If she makes up some excuse not to, there's a good chance she has something to hide.

At your age you should DEFINATELY NOT BE MEETING UP WITH PEOPLE YOU HAVE MET ONLINE. For all you know he is a 45 year old man trying to make his voice sound younger and in doing so sounding feminine. Please run miles away. And please let your parents know what is going on. You are in real danger here.
I am actually genuinely worried about you. I know from personal experience the danger you are potentially in.
I am not going to list all the reasons he ma be doing this to you, as I don't want to scare you. But you MUST tell a responsible adult this very minute.
And whatever you do DO NOT MEET UP WITH THIS PERSON. Please.
