So I would love to try to get with him. However then there is his best friend who I originally thought was gay actually likes me. I like him as a friend and I am very scared to tell him know that I don't like him as his best friend (the guy I actually like) may think badly of me as he is his best friend. If you could give me any advice that would be great.

There are no men here, just boys/guys. What do you *want* from the guy you like? What do you mean you want to "get with him"?
Does he like you? Picking up friends of different genders happens quite a bit in UK colleges, so I wouldn't assume that's flirting, unless he's given you other signs.
As for the best friend, you're better off just being polite now and letting him down gently - whether you get the guy you like or not.

Go for the man you like. Do not get distracted by what if's.
If you have to hurt the other guy feelings, so be it. Don't lose one because of the other.
