reader, anonymous, writes (14 May 2010): Learn from it. It's never a loss unless you make it one! Don't let him think he's got the better of you, stay strong he'll like you better for it ... but don't do it for him do it for you, you never know it might attract another guy!

Don't waste anymore time thinking this way about someone who doesn't feel that way about you. Move on and you'll find someone in the future who appreciates you. Trust me, you'll save yourself a lot of hurt :)

I know it hurts. You feel rejected. That pain is part of life. Take your time and grieve the loss. You don't want to hear this because you are still emotionally attached to him, but there will be other boys, better boys. You have a lot of life ahead of you.
At your age Boys are stupid about emotions and relationships and girls. Fortunately, for society, the do learn and grow up. They get over the "barbie image" and learn to appreciate a woman for her personality. At least the good ones do.
