Don't waste anymore time thinking this way about someone who doesn't feel that way about you. Move on and you'll find someone in the future who appreciates you. Trust me, you'll save yourself a lot of hurt :)

I'll tell you what I told my Daughter once.
I know it hurts. You feel rejected. That pain is part of life. Take your time and grieve the loss. You don't want to hear this because you are still emotionally attached to him, but there will be other boys, better boys. You have a lot of life ahead of you.
At your age Boys are stupid about emotions and relationships and girls. Fortunately, for society, the do learn and grow up. They get over the "barbie image" and learn to appreciate a woman for her personality. At least the good ones do.

Could he be saying that to hide the fact he likes you? It's possible. However you are so young, keep your options open. Find yourself before stressing over guys.
