This is an odd question, especially if that is your real age. A boyfriend is a boy or a man you are in a relationship with, and a crush is just somebody you like, doesn't matter if you met him in person or not.

Fatherly Advice agony auntBlue,

That is an interesting question from a person your age.

I'm guessing you want to understand a slang term that is new to you. It would probably be better to get answers from many age groups. I'm in your age group.

When I talk about a Crush, I'm talking about a short term infatuation. The kind that happens so often to kids in the 13 - 15 age group. You think about the crush all the time. You want to see him/her as often as possible. It is often one sided. It is more selfish than love. A crush rarely lasts longer than 6 weeks.

My Girls (18-21) don't use the term with me. My son (13) hasn't discovered girls seriously. A girl did crush on him this past year. He was pretty much oblivious to it. Poor girl.
