The contraceptive rod!

hi all new to this i was wondering i have the contraceptive rod in have done so for about a year and a half it is said it lasts for 3 years but i want to try for a baby will the doctors take it out? i have heard they dont like to take it out early, any info would be appriciated thanks

Entirely Unique agony auntMy doctor quite happily removed mine and I'd only had mine in for less than a year.

It does state on the leaflet I got about forms of contraception that it lasts for 3 years but it can be removed earlier and I don't see any reason why they would refuse to do so, its your body and if you're not happy with it or you want to have a baby then you have every right to have it removed.
