writes: i have a question that is really worrying me. i am 16 and my friend is 17. we are both gay and have been friends for the past year. we have also been sexually active with each other since a short time after we met. we just recently started having intercourse. this is like only the third time that we did it and the condum split. i didn't know it, and my friend says he didn't either until we were done. so, he ended up cumming inside me. he says there is nothing to worry about since since i'm the only one he's having sex with. i am still am worried. is there anything i should be doing now? this just happened a little while ago. thanks.

I think you should both go and get tested for STI's and HIV just incase, it would put both of your minds at rest and stop you from worrying the next time it happens.

If you are really concerned, go to your local Health Department. Most check for STD's for free or for a small price. It ultimately depends. That is the first step I would take if I were in your position.
