A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Me and my boyfriend were having sex when the condom broke, Now I got my period the very next day and had a normal period except for the odd fact that I had severly bad cramps for two days. Is it possible I could be pregnant?

I don't feel like it, Except lately iv'e been eating a bit more and iv'e been kinda overly emotional.

Or is that all in my head?

It's been 5 weeks since the night the condom broke.

I don't think you could have gotten pregnant if you got your period the next day.

You could be eatting more and getting emotional because of stress that this fear has caused you.

Stress could also be causing your period to come later than usual this time.

Just relax.

Good Luck. x

Of cause its all in your head girlfriend. I agree with Tremor. Your period could've been due the very next day when u had it and with your period happening the very next day, you would have ovulated about 14 or 15 days back. In 5 weeks a period is considered late, but many things could be delaying it. Wait for your period, if it does not happen as soon buy yourself a pregnancy home kit for certainty.

Tremor agony auntIf you got it the very next day, odds are your uterus would have been in no state to host an embryo at the time the condom broke. If you have had your period, there is very very very little chance you are pregnant.

Five weeks should be more than enough time for you to have spotted any symptoms, such as nausea, missed periods, etc.

If you are really fretting about it, then take a pregnancy test, but as I mentioned, it seems highly unlikely.
