The negative part: My friend told me that a girl asked him out and he said MAYBE! I don't know what to do! I think hes sending me mixed messages or something... i really need someones advice! Even for someone like me (I'm super shy by the way, but I was the one that got the courage to first ask my current boyfriend out). The worst he could say is "no, thanks." Don't be too blunt about it though-ease it in and be cool about it. For ex.) If you two start talking about food, ease in something like "Hey there's this place I wanna' try and was wondering if you wanted to go too?" or if you're talking about films "Yeah, I really want to see that movie too-hey you wanna' go see it this weekend?" You get the idea. If he does happen to say no, don't be hurt, just act cool, calm and natural and move on.
