If she replies and tells you, text back and say 'thanks... have you done it yet' etc etc etc. Just something completely casual =D

just a simple "heyy, you okay? done much today? x"
along them lines, its simple yet she'll tell you &hopefully ask you back if she's a decent kind of girl, and just go from there.
Don't sound too eager, yet don't sound matey just interested &wanting to talk to her.
do you both have msn or instant email kind of thing?
its free &you can chat for hours &get to know each other more.
this is just incase you actually interested in her in that way.(:

Then we started discussing the text and ended up with a so what's up. Which led into conversation. Which led into no problem starting conversations afterward. I have recently started this also. I know how hard it is to simply send a text its nerve wracking! But if u send a fwd text it feels a little safer since she would assume u sent it to others.

Have fun!
