writes:I have recently read many responses to many ladies' concern of why their boyfriends or signifcant others don't respond to their text and how it makes them feel... Well, what i am about to write could be considered a tip to all those lady texters out there. Remember, when your Mother laid down the cardinal rule: "You don't call boys!" Regardless, of age...it still applies. Unfornutaly, we were not prepared for new technology to be a new source of communicating...there applies texting, e-mails, the blackberries of the world to help all us to be in touch quicker, faster...almost at the speed of light. So, how do relationships come into the new Millennium of technology? Well, they are the same as when we just had a "land Line." Relationships don't change with technology...the technology, however can change your relationship! By texting too much is no different than calling...it can create many confusing interpretaions of the text and in crowding words on a screen that is so tiny in shape...but still leaves the sender questioning the "no response."...How horrible it feels to not get the response, it's like form of rejection that puts a pit in your stomach and makes you second guess your every move...so all you ladies out there that love to text and no getting response...STOP!Only text back if asked a question...it's like when he used call and you'd only call back if they ask you to...consider it keeping your diginity and your phone line open and not tieng up your Text!The Doctor

reader, anonymous, writes (18 January 2009): True but dont forget it goes both ways sometimes guys like us to ask the questions (for many reasons, shy ect.) I mean out of the blue I'll get a random text of a mate saying "Hey".... thats it lol. Love the post!
