writes: I've been a little confused for the past week or so as i've had extremely tender and almost sore nipples. I recently came off the pill (the POP) and thought this may be the reason why, yet all of my internet research suggests that breast tenderness is common when starting the pill, but never mentions coming off the pill.I did have sex with my boyfriend 2 weeks ago and we used a condom that split. However the second it happened we stopped immediately, and he had not come. That makes me think the chance of me being pregnant is next to nothing, but once again my internet research says tender boobs = pregnant. Yet i've had no other symptoms of early pregnancy.I'm curious to know if there are other reasons why my nipples may be feeling so uncomfortably sore or if i should really get myself checked out.

Check the leaflet that came with your pills. Most of them will protect you from the first day but some won't.
To be honest I've been having a similar problem but not as severe.
Could it be something to do with the fact that it's been stupidly hot here in the UK for the last couple of weeks and you've been sweating into your bra and then rubbing against wet and therefore less comfy fabric?
Good Luck!! xx
