I have little white dots around my clit. I just started noticing them. I'm worried about what it could be. What is it??Question 3. How do you get an infection in the vaginal area?

I would suggest you DON'T use douches or scented stuff to wash your privates in. IT ABSOLUTELY ruins the PH balance and can cause dryness, itchiness and...... infections.
1 Understand that the vagina is a self-cleaning organ. Discharge is a normal function of that process.
2 Most all women have some amount of discharge that will be noticeable on their underwear during their lifetimes.
3 Some women produce more discharge than others.
4 Discharge is generally heavier when you are young and becomes less so as you age. Many women as they become older will have dryness problems, particularly during menopause.
5 Keeping the vaginal area clean and dry can lessen the onset of infections. Too frequent washing or done too abrasively can lead to irritation which can then lead to infection.
6 After using the toilet, wipe from front to back; never back to front. Wiping from back to front can bring bacteria from the anus into the vagina and urethra which can cause infection.
7 If you notice any discharge that appears unusual in color or texture, or discharge that appears with odor or irritation, see your doctor.

You can also get a yeast infection if you are on antibiotics. They wipe out the good bacteria as well as the bad bacteria. With the good bacteria being gone the yeast that is normally in your vagina can get out of control and you have a yeast infection. Other infections can be a strep B infection. It sounds like you maybe concerned that you have a vaginal
infection. See a doctor if the odor you described is really strong (like a fishy smell), accompanied by thick, white discharge that looks like cottage cheese, or just a big increase in clear watery discharge, and you either have pain or itching in the vaginal area.

1. This is pretty normal. Do you get a clear/white discharge? This could be the smell and this is normal - it helps keep the vagina clean. I get it every day. If not, then are you cleaning yourself properly when you pee?
2. This, to my knowledge, is also normal. It's just how the skin is. Some guys get it on their penises too.
3. From sex, from not keeping clean, or very easily from a yeast infection. But you'll know if you have a yeast infection as it'll be really itchy!
To be extra clean, by a bottle of Femfresh wash as you can clean it more thoroughly without it being too harsh on your skin. They also do Femfresh spray.
