I have never shown hints about my feelings towards him and I don't plan to. I'm perfectly happy secretly crushing on him from a distance. Now here's the problem. My teacher crush isn't really liked by the other students 'cause he's pushy about things, but they don't know that he's actually super sweet. I heard rumors from people around me that the principal is going to fire him because of the number of kids in the school that want him gone!! It shocked me when I heard about it and the thought of him being unemployed makes me feel terrible.I don't want him to get fired, but what can I do about it...? Help!

I hope it all works out well for you, because I have been in a similar situation as you with my teacher. Had a huge crush on him, kept it totally in control but just enjoyed it while I could. I personally think that's the best part, just secretly enjoying it from a distance. I'm so sad that I've left the school and he's no longer my teacher! : (
Good luck!

There is nothing you can do I'm afraid - if you say anything it will probably give it away how you feel and then you will get him into even more trouble.
Now normally principals will not just fire an employee (teacher) purely because they are disliked by the students, generally kids never like their teachers so it is pretty common to have kids talking badly about their teachers. I bet if these rumours are coming from the kids around you that he is going to get fired then it is just something they have made up.
But if the principal does fire him - then he will have had a very good reason to do so. It is very difficult to fire someone from a job - the law states you have to go through a number of warnings before you can be fired, unless it is for gross misconduct (a very serious offence like stealing, sexual harassment etc). So if he does fire him, then it will either be for something serious, or he will have had a number of warnings in the past and it will be his last chance.
You obviously care about him so of course you will feel sad if he loses his job. But there is a lot you wont know about that goes on between the principal and your teacher crush, and you are not in the position to make a judgement on this. Whatever happens will happen for the right reason, either they are just rumours or there is a valid reason for him to be fired. No principal will fire him just because kids dont like him, remember that. If that does happen he could take it to an industrial tribunal and win a lot of money in compensation - so keep that in mind.
I hope this helps and good luck!
