A reader, anonymous, writes (3 March 2009):

Has it always been this way or did it used to go straight in?

The vagina is not a straight passage... It curves upward. It is possible that what you're feeling is just how your canal is shaped.

If it used to go in straight and now it feels different it might be smart to talk to a doctor about it, but if it has always been this way then its probably normal.

Hope this helps.
