Her father is suggesting that we leave her home and we go on a four-day break somewhere? I just want to know what are the pros and cons for travelling with a young one since its my first time.. thanks aloot .. Reply to this Question Share |

I don't have kids, but 2 years ago, we went to vacation with my cousin's family, his baby was 10 months old back then.
If you go by car, it is recommended that you make several pit-stop, because the kid might throw up due to the fast driving or the slightest particular smell, like the one coming from little decorative scent bags or from the gas. Thus, your baby will cool down. Might seem uncomfortable, the kid wants to sleep, needs to be fed, you have to change his diapers, so what's important in that case is the patience.
If you have the possibility, you could leave him with your parents or your parents-in-law, it's up to you or your husband, if you think he's not going to be safe during the trip.
