Suddenly people are asking me if i have a boy friend YET and they always say YET, its really bugging me, like the other day i was talking to my cousin and she said are you going out with [Rob] YET, she put extra emphasis on the yet and then my three bestmates did the exact same thing.....is there something going on or am i just being paranoid?

Just answer them honestly and try to ignore their comments as much as possible - do they have boyfriends themselves? Either way, it's not really any of their business, is it?

Trust me: been there.
I suspect they either think you like this [Rob] or that he likes you, and they're all expecting you two to get together at some point. Perhaps you should ask him if they're actin the same to him?

Maybe they are all giving you a head up that he might ask you out soon or that he likes you. For now, there is nothing you can do or should do. Just keep your eyes open and see how he acts when your around. And by the way, the whole "don't you have a boyfriend?" thing starts at your age and until you are confirmed to be with someone it probably won't stop. People just like to think of two young people getting together because its exciting and interesting to them.I am a lot older than you. Now the phrase is "why aren't you married?" and from strangers "why doesn't your husband travel with you?" or "do you and your husband____whatever". You will learn to ignore it. Those people don't mean any harm. Its just something for them to say I think.

Have you had a boyfriend before?
Maybe they're trying to hint you should get a boyfriend..
Thats how i'd interpret it anyway.
Much love.
