 When he says something funny, put your hand on his chest for just a second as you laugh. There is not a man alive who will miss that signal, and it doesn't make you look slutty by any reasonable definition. It will give him all the motivation he needs to make a move.
After that, it's just a matter of playing along as he advances. Some guys move faster than others, but this will get him started regardless.
