A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Okay

. Me and my boyfriend had sex earlier for the first time. I haven't had sex since the end of may. We used a condom but a little after he said he had to ask me a question. And he asked me when my next period is and I really don't know. It should be soon but he's just got me worried. He also checked the condom and its not ripped/has holes in it or anything like that. But I'm still worried. What do I do?

Also - this sounds like a really ideal time to consider an additional form of birth control. The Pill used in conjunction with condoms is quite effective and can pretty well quell any fears you have about getting pregnant in the future.

Well, it is a choice to have sex, but there is always a risk of prenancy, as condoms are also not 100% safe. I do think you must just relax.

If you are going to get all worried and stressed that might delay your periods even more.

For your own peace of mind try to keep a good record of your dates in future.
