 According to the zodiac and nearly everyone I know, I'm 100% Pisces. My personality does fit the description really well, but that's all there is to it for me. It's a bit of fun, sure, but I wouldn't use it as a basis for anything serious.

I have not dated according to my star compatibility, neither did I commit to my relationship looking at his star sign. I am a gemini and my guy is Pisces, two very imcompatible signs.
But recently, I am infatuated with another guy who also turns out to be a piscean. lol.
To answer you, I don't think it is going to work if you want to date according to your star compatibility. It does have some importance as they predict their genuine character and so much for that they are true. It is my personal experience. But you can't like someone only because he is from your well suited zodiac.
But if you can date a guy who turns out to be from a compatible sign then you are lucky.
