Dr Pete gave the perfect answer my friend. The love you have for your parents i.e Phylios (I dont know if I spelt that right!!) is totally different from the love you have a for a partner that is Eros. You cant possibly be IN love with your parents for example but you ought to be IN love with your partner and therefore although the love is different, its not possible to say which is deeper. I am assuming that you are asking this question maybe because you are thinking is it wrong to love your partner more than your parents? Whatever the reason, what you must understand my friend that the two loves differ. Take care. xXx

I mean you love your spouse dearly, but then again you also want to be intimate with them and have their children. You love your parents similarly, but there is no sexual intimacy.
I think the other thing is that people have varying levels of love for their spouse and parents. Some people don't really show much love for their parent at all. And vica versa. Why do you ask?

When your younger your parents are your family but when you get older your partner becomes your family. I love my partner more I think.
