Spotted Dick. Has he got his just desserts for cheating?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've been with my boyfriend for a year and a bit and we always had a great sex life until he started a new job as a labourer. Since then we've had sex about 10 times in the last 7months!!

He says he doesn't want to have sex because he keeps getting spots on his cock. I have seen 2, one about 6 months ago and one yesterday. These look exactly like spots you'd get on your other parts of your body and have heads (mingin ano!) Anyway the get quite big and have loads of pus inside them (or they look like they would)They also go away on there own after a few days or weeks.

He never had spots down there before and I was wondering how he could have got these and if they could be an sti or anything?

I was checked out when we started going out so I know we both had no infections then so if this is an sti I'll know he's been cheating as he's been acting weird lately.

So i guess my question is do you think these are normal at all? or do you think hes been sleeping with some little slut and caught something!!??

I was going for a smear anyway so they chacked me for everything while I was there.

As for him, he has the doctors today but I'm not sure what for - it might be for this but he's too afraid to tell me that. He told me it was for his hand but I think that is complete b/s as there is nothing at all worng with his hand in the slightest!!

I guess I'll just have to wait and see when I finish work!!

Hold on! If he's got spots on his dick, how come your doing all the checking. Whatever it is, he needs to check with a doctor to find out what it is. Call NHS Direct, they can provide advice over the telephone 24/7. Whatever it is he needs to see a doctor to get better advice.

***UPDATE:***

Thanks for your comments/ answers.

I dont think it is an STI as I phoned the doctor to see if my results were back and they said we'll phone you back if there is if we dont phone there isn't and I asked when and they said yesterday and I had no call so I think they are just spots but I feel bad for thinking he'd cheat on me now =O

I went to the doctor last week but I wont get results until next week so I cant be sure until then.

I do not recommend using this link as a means of diagnosing or treating any disease.

He needs to see his doctor to be checked out, just to be on the safe side. It might just be pimples, as PeterPan pointed out, but what's the harm in confirming that? It might be something that can be easily treated.

Good luck and take care!

Aunt Audrey agony auntYour boyfriend needs to see a doctor to find out what the problem is, it maybe nothing or something, but if it's affecting his sex life I can't understand why he hasn't seen his GP yet.

If it is an STD you will also need to get checked out again, chances are he may have passed it on to you, not saying it is, but better to be safe than sorry.

He may be embarassed to see the doctor, but I think he should if only to put his mind at rest.

Good luck.

There is a chance it could be an STD or it may not be. The only way you can know is if your guy gets himself checked out at the doctors.

If your bf is saying he doesnt want to have sex because of the spots, then what does he think they are? If these spots are stoping him from having sex then why hasnt get got himself checked out??? You should really question him on this.

A male reader, PeterPan United States +, writes (10 June 2008):

PeterPan agony auntAre you trying to describe an acne pimple? If that's the case, then it's not improbable to have them anywhere on your body... and I've even had them on my penis too. I am going to assume your boyfriend is about your age so this could easily be a case of acne. In fact, anyplace you have skin, you can have a clogged duct or hair follicle. Yeah, it's not pretty and they can be a bit painful just because of where they are located. I have lanced mine and spread an antibacterial cream on them to help them heal.

As far as an indication that he was cheating -- no, this is a completely different issue and has no play on his fidelity at all... rest assured.
