A age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Last week I got over strep throat, and I've been fine. For about 2 days, my throat has been painful when I swallow. It's not sore, but that painful feeling.. I can't really explain. I don't have any other symptoms either. Any idea what it could be, and when I should see a doctor?

A reader, anonymous, writes (13 November 2010):

You do need to go see your doctor. You might not be completely over the strep, or it could've created another problem relating to your throat, perhaps your tonsils. The only way to ever know is to go to the doctor, and you should go soon. Strep is nothing to take lightly, and neither are throat problems in general.
