Sore, itchy and freaking out!!

A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

me and my boyfreind have been going out for 7months and before we met i was going out with this guy for a year and we had sex a couple of times sometimes without a condom but he had never had sex with anyone else and neither had i, but now my 7 month boyfriend and i had sex last week and we never used protection because am on the pill but its gave me thrush so should i stop taken the pill? also i have found wee blister spot things on my vagina which are really sore and itchy and hurts when i pee and am not sure what they are :/ am really freaking out please help :/

Noone but a medical professional can help make/rule out/ a STI diagnosis. Please make an appointment with whomever rx-ed you the pill...the sooner, the better.

dijoyful agony auntWell Thrush is not a STD you can get it without having sex, from scented soaps washing powder or simalar products. Mainly woman get it, but so can men, keeping clean and using a special cream is usaully all thats needed. As for the blisters, this could be Genital Herpes, the same virus that causes cold sores on the lips. If so you will need to get it diagnosed as it is easily spread, many of us carry the virus in our bodies but never get symtoms.
