TasteofIndia agony auntGo to the police immediately. Doesn't matter how embarrassing those pictures are, the police have seen worse. I wouldn't try to handle this yourself, I would turn it right over to the authorities and let them handle this online creep. Please be careful!

go to the police and report him. tell them everything! even about the things he is saying he will put on the internet. give them his name, address, number anything which will help and let them deal with him. he won't feel such a man when he is in prison!

Does the site you are on have moderators who you can report him to? If so ask them to ban him from the site? If not, delete your account and change your e mail address.

tell him youre going to inform the police and simply stop all contact. Ignore him. He will get bored when he realises his threats arent working.

A female reader, MuffinGirl Netherlands +, writes (5 February 2009):

MuffinGirl agony auntWhat do he want you to do? Whatever is it, don't do that. I think there are some online pages to report this kind of blackmailing. I hope some of aunts here will give you right link, I just heard that kind of pages exist.

There is another one chance, which is a bit alternative. Do you have any friends who can hack in his computer and delete your photos from his pc? I know it's illigal, but who cares now. What kind of pictures are anyway? If they are not photos of you being naked or having sex, than maybe you shouldn't be so afraid about his actions. At least if you're not famous, but i doubt you are :)

Maybe it would be good if you just ignore him and act like you don't care. Or you can tell police, but i doubt they're going to do something.

I hope this helped.

Good luck.
