Hey, I'm a 13 year old girl.

Some guys think I'm really hot, some think i'm really ugly or don' even notice me. How is this possible?

I'm not a thin girl.

I'm 5'4 and i weight 129 lbs.

My measurements are 34-24-37

I'm just really curious, what are the things boys look for in girls. And please be honest.

Hehe... 8] Well, I've been called ugly as well as hot. So, things like that can be mind-boggling, and I was just thinking that you have pretty large measurements for bust and hip size for a girl at 13. My gosh! What are parents feeding their children nowadays?!?!

Well joking aside, I don't think it's an universally accepted thing whether you are good looking or not. Ideally, you may fit somewhere in the middle of looking great and not looking good at all. You don't need to understand it. It just is.

vina_101 agony auntAt thirteen you shouldn't really be worrying about what guys think of you and so forth. You're still young and there is plenty of time to worry about that sort of thing. You don't need a guy to tell you that you are pretty. You should know that already without anyone having to tell you.

It's all about accepting yourself (as Ariel said), appreciating yourself and respecting yourself. When you do all those things and have a high opinion of yourself other people's respect and appreciation will follow.

It doesn't really matter if you're thin or not. Don't you know that guys like confident girls? If you give out bad vibes that say: "Oh I'm so fat. I'm so ugly. Somebody take me out of my misery boo-hoo" then no one will really be attracted to you. I sure wouldn't be if I was a guy. If you point out faults with yourself that no one else can see then soon enough they will start seeing them too even though there aren't any.

You have got to send out signals that say "I'm great. I'm gorgeous. I'm happy with myself." If you tell yourself that and show people that you believe that then they too will start seeing you in this positive way. Start today with a positive view of yourself. You've got to start with you. Work from the inside out. Positive vibes. Positive mentality.

Love yourself and respect yourslef.xx:)
