 hun if you told Jarid you were talking to another guy maybe that;s why he is ignoring you because he's upset and now may think that you are cheating or something.
i mean he's been ill so chances are he can't get to the phone and is probably sleeping alot best thing for when you're ill rest.
try not to worry leave it for a few days don't text or call and see what happens :)
