So why did he visit my workplace at the end of the day, then not speak? Yet then message me at home later?

A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

So this guy who liked me at work (he's not there anymore) turned up at work just as all the kids are leaving (I work in a school)

Something went on between him and two members of female staff, so they didn't want to see him, and people generally weren't happy to see him, as he picked such a bad time to come.

When he arrived I was in my room tidying up when my friend from the office gave me a package and told me I had a visitor in reception. At this point I felt surprised as at the end of the day no one would ever visit me. She then said who it was, so off I went to see him.

But when I got there a male member of staff was talking to him. He said hi, but for the whole time he was there he just spoke to the the man. When the other member of staff spoke to me he said he was leaving??

I then get home to a message saying it was nice to see me??

What was that all about?

That's one of the issues no one will give a straight answer just that he lived too far away, I don't want to get involved with him as I had a friendly warning not to but again no one will explain what has happened and before he left we were friends which is why we are still in touch.

Just a bit confused by it all

oldbag agony auntHi

Maybe he didn't want the other staff member to know his business. He must have a reputation with women if 2 of them there didn't want to see him.

Also why did the rest seem unhappy he was there, the man he was talking to doesn't seem to have a problem. It all sounds a bit dramatic if he only popped in to see you.

I would ask him whats what and also find out why he's so unpopular at your work

Honeypie agony auntI would ask him about it.

And why would people be "unhappy" to see him at the school? That seems really weird to me.
