So how do I get to know a guy I don't know?

Question - (17 April 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 18 April 2010)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've seen this guy at my school around and i suddenly have taken notice in him.

I've talked to him about once or twice, but this was last semester, near the beginning of the school year. And then I got transferred out of his class so we never got to actually KNOW each other. We don't even say hi.

He hangs out with a guy I know, but also with a lot of other people.

I was just wondering how should I approach him and say hi without being awkward?

CindyCares agony auntJust do it :). Say hi, with a nice, warm, friendly smile. Sincere smiles work wonders. Of course you may use the excuse of wanting to catch up with what's been going on in his class ( your old class ), but try simplicity first:

just a real smile ,felt from the heart, is an ice breaker enough most of the times.
