I'm always moving; whether it's crossing my legs, playing with my hair, resting my head on my hand, just all and any movement. I'm very aware of my movements, so it's not like they're involuntary or unconsciously done. I just can't sit still. And because of this problem I feel like I can't concentrate on what is being taught. My attention is on how/what I'm moving. This restlessness could be because I feel I'm being watched (not creepily), or simply because I'm bored. So how can I stop being restless? I see people very into what the professor is teaching and not moving much. I want to be like that!I would appreciate any suggestions or advice. Thank you! Reply to this Question Share |

Get a notebook and take notes furiously. Instead of acting out physically, try doodling or writing less boring things on the side of your notes if you can't stand it. Also, stare out the window and daydream. Pay more attention to your thoughts than your body.
