I take the contraceptive pill mycagon30 (not sure how its spelt lol) i took it at about 7pm-ish, (as i do every day) me and my bofriend had sex that nite. however we then had a bit to drink and i was sick at about 4am, in the pill's instructions it says that the pill may not work correctly if you are sick, but i was sick from too much alcohol not stomach upset... and it was like a good 9 hours after i had taken my pill.... what are your thoughts???

There is a small chance you can get pregnant, I think it is if you are sick within 24 hours of taking the pill then it will reduce its effectiveness. But I have been sick plenty of times when on the pill and had sex within the 24 hours and never got pregnant.
If you are really worried then go to the doctors right away and get the morning after pill (I think you call it Plan B over there in the US!). That would make sure you were not pregnant however it only works within 72 hours of the said event.
I hope this helps and good luck!

But because you have been sick you should use other contraceptives for at least 7 days after, and for future reference it doesnt matter why you are sick. If you vomit then you may have bought up some of the pill.
Also remember no single contracteptive is 100% effective on its own.
