A female Canada age 30-35, *ora_Bird writes:

hey everyone! So my boyfriend broke up with me just over 2 weeks ago and I am still pretty sad about it. Anyways, I was good friends with a lot of his close friends before I knew him and in the past week I've been talking to some of them. I feel like I am betraying him by talking to his friends, but it shouldn't bother him. We all got along really well and I miss seeing them. I don't think him breaking up with me should stop me from being in contact with his friends. is this situation ok?

You're not betraying him, because you're broken up and they are your friends too. You can certainly meet them, but please appreciate that it will be difficult if he's with them too. Don't get rid of them as friends, but make sure you are widening your social circle to include new people, just to make it less awkward and to make sure that if you can't meet them one night, you can at least meet some other friends.
