I've been ok with it thus far, but what made me post was that we were going to eat at a low key place. She came to pick me up and she decided to goto a nicer place that I haven't been to before. When it was time to pay the check, she didn't offer to pay. Since it was her choice to go there, I felt I was right to "expect" her to pay for this meal.

Next time she wants to go out then tell her you've been spending too much on restaurants so will cook her spag bol instead.
If she wants to go out then she can pay for it. She probably only doesn't pay because you are in the habit of paying and she's not realised it's a problem.
Good Luck!! xx

In this day and age, I hardly think it's unreasonable for a woman to pick up the tab once in a while, especially if she's the one that wants to go out all the time.
I think I'd start by letting her know you'd like to stop spending so much money going out to eat. If she insists on it, then you might want to suggest that she start taking a little more responsibility for the costs.
