Should I work on it or leave it now before it gets worse?

Question - (29 September 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 29 September 2009)
A female United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I've been dating this guy for 15 months now. I am so sure that I am in love with him and I was so sure he felt the same way. But at times he gets mad over something and decides to change his mind.

The last time we fought he told me he didn't think he was in love with me. That he didn't see himself marrying me. So I told him if thats what he wants then we can go our separate ways. Then he calls me to say he can't be without me and that he is sorry.

Now I feel that I just cannot trust him. I feel as if he isn't sincere when he says he loves me or when he tells me nice things. I feel as if I'm just there for the moment.

I have spoken with him about it several times and he insists he still wants to be with me.

Should I work on it or leave now before it gets worse??

I think you may have answered this. And I think your heart is telling you something. You feel as if he's using you for the momemt.

That's what it sounds like to me too.

I think you'd be better off and much happier ending it and finding a guy who really does want to be with you. There are other really great guys out there. Be brave and lots of luck.
