Should I wait for X? Or go for Z?

i am a 21 years old pakistani muslim girl i am in relationship with a guy X in my university for 3 years.. our relation has been really tough since the first day v are really different people with different choices n opinion n dont seem to get along

... the last time v talked was 2 weeks ago when he said never to call me again n hung up n broke up with me .. now there is another guy Z he is son of my dads friend n seems to b perfect in everyway ,he is the guy i always wanted X to be n there is a very good chance that if i wanted i cud get married to him because our parents are friends .. what shud i do? should i call my boyfriend or wait for him to call or should i start talking to Z to get to noe him? ..i really like Z n im tired of fighting all the time with X n it seems v can never b happy together

Seems to me that X is a bit of a waste of time. You obviously don't like the person he is. If he broke up with you, you are free to do what you want. Get to know Z. You may regret it if you don't.
