She's had a boyfriend the entire time, but he told her two months ago it was OK if we kissed because she was feeling lonely and then a month ago they went into an open relationship. Now they're about to break up, but I don't think I feel the same way as I used to when it comes to her because there was a stage where I really wanted us to be together. I'm not sure whether I just buried my feelings, or whether they've actually dissipated, but regardless I think she wants us to get together when she comes back from her holiday back home. Should I wait a while to see if the feelings come back, or should I just tell her there's not going to be an 'us'? I tend to bury painful emotions as a reflex, and liking someone you can't be with is one of those so I'm not sure whether I actually don't feel the same or it's just hidden.
