Should I try and contact him?

Question - (26 August 2010) 2 Answers - (Newest, 26 August 2010)
A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

The situation is this:

I was in a hotel restaurant with my mother and the waiter came over to set the table. As soon as I saw him we locked eyes and I felt like I had known him forever. It was like something that happens in a film! He said hi and apologised for the delay and I couldnt stop smiling (I probably looked like a goof!) He was very warm and friendly to me (i know this is customer service etc) but he seemed very smiley!

The next few days while I was in the hotel he started a conversation with me twice (outside of meal times) and we got on really well. I really think he is so sweet (I've seen him cutting a child's dinner up for them and he asked me if I like animals). Then I had to leave the hotel. It has been a week now and I cant stop thinking about him!

Is this just lust? (I'm not sure because he is attractive but it is more his loving personality I like) Should I try and contact him? I'm going crazy!

I don't see any harm in approaching him and speaking to him! It sounds like you feel an attraction towards him, and he sounds like a nice person. So I think you should be fine to give it a try. Don't drive yourself crazy - go for it!
