I thought that not seeing him for a while might help. Also, I thought going to college would change everything: I would meet new people and start a relationship but nothing happened. I don't know what to do. This teacher is a 52 year old man who is single and I've heard that he lives with a woman. He has never been married and has no kids. I'm not totally sure if he knows that I like him. I wanted to ask you agony aunts and uncles if you think it would be a good idea telling him everything and asking for help from this man himself.

what do you expect from him? what do you think he would say if you told him??
Just be careful here what you are going to do, if he is already in a relationship, do you really want to be the one that tries to jepordise that??
And how long have you actually been in college for before you have realised you still think about him? Our memories from school stay with us throughout or life, as they were probably the most happy times we've had, so that mayb be one of the reasons you still think about him.
