A male United States age 41-50, anonymous writes:

So I have been dating this guy for 4 months, things were great. We hang out on an average of 2 times a week or so. he really like me but i think i am in love with him already. i want to get into the relationship with him, but he said he is not ready for a relationship yet due to his bad breakup from the past. this wasn't the first time he mentioned. he told me about it since after like a month that we went out. he knows that i am waiting for him and recently he told me that he felt bad that i am waiting for him and it is not fair. he said he doesnt want me to wait for him anymore, but he doesn't want to lose me either. but he made a decision cause he felt that it is not fair for me. he said when he is ready for a relationship, it will be with me. what should i do? should i tell him that i am willing to wait or give him space to think over?

total honesty, im 24 and if a guy told me "if hes willing for a relationship itll be with me" that is telling me to "wait". but idk thats just me...i dont think you should come b/w him and his ex also. bc put yourself in that girls shoes fora minute. if the love of your life is out making out with another girl, would you want him to be with her? NO. i never understood why a girl gets in the way of a break up of anothr guy, the minute someone mentions a rough breakup, instead of the girl helping to rekindle things, she makes her move. i hope you didnt do that.
