We were in a very serious relationship for several years. She has another girlfriend now and says she just wants to be friends. She has never said anything to lead me to believe this is not the case. We live far away from each other now, so I can't even see her in person anymore, but she still calls me every week. Does she really just want to be friends or should I read more into it than that? She never told me she has a girlfriend now, I just found out from someone else. I still am in love with her, but know we will never be together again. Am I doing something wrong by talking to her when she is with someone else now? We have purely platonic conversations when we talk, so I don't think we are doing anything wrong. Should I stop talking to her? Am I disrespecting her current girlfriend by talking to her so often even if we are just friends?

there's nothing wrong with that! He might just enjoy chatting with you,as long as its not affecting you negatively, like been able to move on. And so long you keep your relationship purely platonic.
