Should I take my ex-girlfriend back?

Question - (27 July 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 27 July 2011)
A male France age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My girlfriend, after having spent two years together, dumped me April last year saying I was doing smalltime job , so I was too poor to afford her. Now two nights back, she resurfaced , telling me that she wanted to come back. She knows I am still doing smalltime job and earning just enough. Oh yeah, she has lost one of her leg in deadly car incident here. I still love her...she is still courageous girl of the town. She says she can't face me for whatever she did to me in the past but I have forgiven her for that as I am kind of person who does not know how to hold grudge for longer period. Should I take her back?

eyeswideopen agony auntWell it certainly is up to you, but if you do decide to take her back, I advise you to just take it very slowly. She may just be doing a "any port in the storm" sort of thing.
