I have went to the doctor and i was diagnosed with a urinary tract infection. I had to take two pills a day for three days. I had to take six pills in total. But after I was through with the pills my stomach started hurting. During the time I was taking my pills I had a brown discharge come out and it was alot. I just thought that the medicine was clearing the infection. But after I was done taking the pills I had the same symptoms. I have a fouls smell from my vagina. Also I have alot of discharge and my stomach is in pain. Do you think I have an std or something because this smell is stronger than it was before I took the medicine? Also my stomach pain is alot worst. What could it be? The doctor only checked for Chlamydia and gonnorhea but nothing else. Could it be syphilis or what std could it be? I think it's an std because of the strong foul smell. Should I take an antibiotic to treat or help the unknown infection?

Moon godess is right, we are not doctors, we cannot diagnose you.

Go back and see him and tell him of all your symptoms and ask for a full screening if you are worried about STDs.

Keep going back till your problems are solved, even if you have to ask for a different doctor net time.

Good Luck!! xx

helpjayne agony auntyou can get this type of infection right before your period i suffered from it recently, you should take the full course of the antibiotics that the doctor gave you thrush is very comon also before your period which might be the foul smell, i'm sure the discharge isn't a sign of an std as my friend had one similar and was told it was nothing. but go get yourself checked out if it is playing on your mind that much. the infection can hurt your stomach like crazy but it could also be cramp if your near to your monthly.
