reader, anonymous, writes (10 January 2008): You've been with her for 2 years. Surely there must be something there keeping you around for long? If these fights are over stupid things and you generally get along quite well, then i guarantee you'll regret dumping her. But if there's major problems and you don't see a future, go for your friend.
Be prepared to accept that you might be left with nothing though.
