Should I stay?

Question - (20 October 2007) 1 Answers - (Newest, 21 October 2007)
A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Ive been together with a guy for a month now,its long distance about 3hours away on a plane,we met when i was on a vacation and we shared intense chemistry.

HOwever he said he doesnt see that this relationship might work and he is not ready for a relationship right now, mostly because of the distance and issues with his ex-gf.

We email, talk on the phone for hours like lovers and we are deciding to see each other in a month, and he is a very sweet, nice and a funny guy. Should I just go on with the relationship and see if it leads somewhere or should i just end it and avoid falling more in love with him and save myself from a heartbreak?

A male reader, Danielepew Mexico +, writes (21 October 2007):

Danielepew agony auntIf he doesn't think the relationship can work, and he has issues with his former girlfriend, I wouldn't recommend that you keep trying with him. Long-distance relationships require a lot of commitment, and you need to be sure that relationship is what you really want. He doesn't seem willing to actually do what this relationship would demand.
