I've met this man who came to fix my tap at my house. I feel so lonely so I go for it. He is 18 years older than me. I like him helping around the house and taking me out shopping at weekends. We've been together for 9 months now. The feeling about him is too old for me is getting stronger and stronger. Should I stay with someone who is as old as my dad because I am afraid of being on my own and for him being helpful? Please advise.

Honestly, it is great being on your own, you can do what you want and when you want. Stop worrying about the lonliness thing. It will be ok. You can mail me if you are lonely and i'll put you right. Stop whittling, enjoy the freedom and be yourself. Get rid of him! You deserve better.
take care
