Do I stay in a long distance relationship that's lasted 17 months, so far? The first few months he was local. I know him really well and we love each other. Or do I go out with a guy I've known since October last year, who I know reasonably well? He loves me and I love him and I think he would treat me better.

My only advice to you is follow your heart. If you trust the long distance relationship you are in now, kudos to you because they rarely last 2 months. You really need to sit down and make a list of what you like about each of them and compare....I think the results will really help you.
