I have never had actual sexual intercourse but I have both given and received oral sex. Should I start on the pill in case we do end up having sex? My instinctive answer is "yes!" as a precaution, but I've heard it causes spotting for the first few months and I guess I don't want oral sex to be uncomfortable for the guy. (I don't even know if I want to have sex in the first place, it's just a precaution.. also, I won't want to have sex with only a condom in place).

Yeah, I think that'd be a really sensible thing to do. And also like the other noter I've never had spotting on the pill. Whether you're currently having sex or not I would definitely go on it because it just makes life so much easier and stress free.
