writes:ok, so was dating this guy non-exclusively for 2 months before i went away for a couple of weeks..he is the first guy ive been out with for that long, but i'm unsure whether i enjoy his company as a friend, or whether i could fall for him... Im also unsure whether I want a relationship right now.. im just really confused...and maybe even a bit scarred i suppose..i contacted him about a week ago via sms- basically i asked how his year was/told him i was back; he replied he got a new job/ i congratulated him and asked him where and that was the end of our conversation because i was quite busy at the time.... i haven't had an sms from him since then.. and am unsure whether i should wait for him to contact me or whether i should sms him again/ and what i would say? rubyrose is verified as being by the original poster of the questionno he replied to my question about the job.. but that was the last contact we had..
so i dont know whether i should contact him again (and what i would say) or should i leave the ball in his court if he wants to see me again?

Hmm, this is tricky because you don't want to sound desperate by contacting him again but he might have not got your last one... If it were me I would leave it another week then maybe contact him, just say 'so how's this job going then? :)', then if he doesn't reply to that one don't contact him again until he does.
